Price Action Trade Plan

A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

Well Well… I wrote last night, “ We are bottle up and about to EXPLODE… one way or another.”

We did!

ETH LAST NIGHT: As I published the Battle Plan yesterday just before the RTH close, we got a move down into the Battle Plan (4️⃣) zone. I immediately alerted Discord, “Watch 67. Battle Plan (4️⃣)… Read the notes“.

“THE NOTES”:

Below the Battle Plan, there is a “TRADE IDEAS EXPLAINED” section… the “notes”.

Be sure to review my notes on each entry, as they often contain additional insights, alternative entry points, and suggested take-profit ideas that can help refine your execution and maximize trade opportunities.

Keep in mind that these alternative entry points are not always reflected in the drawings or mapping, so the written notes provide important added context.

And sometimes, they come with warning labels!

The Entry: I went long with multiple contracts and held a runner into the RTH close. I used the ladder-back sequence after ES took out the 6767.25 low, which aligned “The Notes” of this trade idea. I wrote, “If we take out the low at 6767 OR 6762 with a snappy ladder back, this would be of interest.”

The Target: The top of the range per the mapping. See the chart below.

Battle Plan (4️⃣) Long

ETH gapped up – a nice sign! But alas, price came back and took out my runner.

Second Entry: However, ES gave me a SECOND opportunity to get long again. I used Battle Plan (4️⃣) twice to get long. We often see multiple traps when in range… and range rules RULE!

I went long one contract (as it is the Asia session) and held my stop at a “papercut stop loss”… hoping this might be the breakout towards ATH. I am already green from the long discussed earlier, so let’s give the bulls a shot here! You can do it!

As mentioned in the Battle Plan last night, “And, HOLD A RUNNER just-in-case price breaks out the direction of your trade! A runner is very important now, IMHO.”

RANGE RULES 101: Knowing where you are on the chart in space (and time) is critical.

Price once again made it to the TOP of the RANGE (a perfect take profit) and came back towards the bottom. See the chart below. I guess we will keep playing Range Rules UNTIL ES breaks out of the range – which it will do! Be sure you are holding a runner for it!

6:32 AM CST: The rotation back to the bottom of the range took out my runner. Now, I have a clean slate. Time to take a step-back to examine the Battle Plan trade ideas again.Will we get Battle Plan (4️⃣) long or Battle Plan (5️⃣) short?

RTH SESSION: Well well, the WARNING LABEL on Battle Plan (4️⃣) came true. I warned, “
If this fails, WATCH OUT BELOW!“.

And that happened! Watch Out Below! I was NOT looking for shorts but Battle Plan (5️⃣) played out nicely. See the chart below.

Methodology

Video: How To Trade The Battle Plan

Each evening, I scan the ES chart and ask one primary question:

Where are the bulls and bears positioned?

"Great bears know where the bulls are.
Great bulls know where the bears are."

The arrows you see highlight those pressure points...zones where reactions in price are most likely.

Careful consideration is given to trend, range structure, liquidity pools, and our Strong Levels — a custom TradingView indicator available to paid Battle Plan or full Micros Trader members.

Most arrows lean toward the buy side. That's no coincidence as the ES is a long-biased instrument over time.

How you choose to trade these zones is entirely up to you:

Entry:

Our Core Strategy: Low-time frame bounce levels.
Level Reclaim: Market order with proper stop loss under low.
Your own preferred method: Just use the arrows as a price map and trade on your own confirmation.
Paper Trade til confident.
Set Alerts on TradingView as ES/MES trades 23 hours a day. Entries may occur at any time.
