A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

Today is.. the Day before CPI. If you are using our journaling software – this is a “Special Day”. “Day before CPI”. Mark it… this way, in the future, many months from now, you can pull every  “Day Before CPI” and look at your notes and performance grade. Easy Peasy! 

My platform only opened ONCE in AM. It seemed we were going to get  (1️⃣)  Battle Plan trade. It was not to be. No trade. Platform closed. 

I opened it again in the PM – right before Power Hour. I took the closest thing to the  (1️⃣)  Battle Plan Long from last night.

ENTRY: Green Arrow at 6403

Battle Plan Long

Entry: 6403. I was targeting POC (Point of Control) – 10 points away. A likely target and a nice 10 pointer… hopefully. Initially I had a two point stop loss. Price moved 3 points in the profit so I moved my stop to break even. Hands off the mouse. Then 5 points in the profit. Come on bulls, get up there.  

10 pointer -or- break even – no attachment. As we say in our group. “There is another high-probability trade around the corner.” – this we know!

Price took nearly 20 minutes to FINALLY get me out at break even! Talk about SLOW price action. My job is done – we wait. 

Then a beautiful end of day flush into the  (1️⃣) Battle Plan trade idea from last night. Too late in the session for me.

Late Day Flush To Strong Range & (1️⃣)

This illustrates the idea of “reaction zones” where I seek to engage in price. Sometimes, it happens at midnight while sleeping or end-of-day – no trade zones for me. Back to waiting. Certainly a nice reaction at our mapped out  (1️⃣)  Battle Plan long, inside the Strong Range.  

This did not map out exactly as outlined – but not a bad trade plan idea for those who wanted to be short. ( 2️⃣)

The “Early Adopter Short” trade location was pretty solid. I look forward to seeing how this trade idea wraps up. Could it be the Trade Of The Week? We will see!

Where are the bulls and bears positioned?

“Great bears know where the bulls are.
Great bulls know where the bears are.”

The arrows you see highlight those pressure points…zones where reactions in price are most likely.

Careful consideration is given to trend, range structure, liquidity pools, and our Strong Levels — a custom TradingView indicator available to paid Battle Plan or full Micros Trader members.

Most arrows lean toward the buy side. That’s no coincidence as the ES is a long-biased instrument over time.

How you choose to trade these zones is entirely up to you:

Entry:

• Our Core Strategy: Low-time frame bounce levels.
• Level Reclaim: Market order with proper stop loss under low.
• Your own preferred method: Just use the arrows as a price map and trade on your own confirmation.
• Paper Trade til confident.
• Set Alerts on TradingView as ES/MES trades 23 hours a day. Entries may occur at any time.
