OVERNIGHT:

If you did not read last night’s discussion on VIX and ES… I highly encourage it.

Last night I wrote, “In fact, most traders should not trade this week at all.”

I added, “Expect….More violence. More whipsaws. Harder reversals. More ways to blow up your account.”

Level 10 trading conditions were promised.

The market did not disappoint.

What a wild opening and night!

MES Futures Price Action Battle Plan Zones

So, unless you’re an international trader or a trader burning the midnight oil, Battle Plan (6️⃣) was an impossible trade to be in. I know I was staring at the back of my eyelids. You can’t be in the every single trade.

Sure, it’s great that a Battle Plan trade ran 100-200 points on the first trading day of the week!

But… sometimes those trades happen when you are not at the chart.

Oh well… it happens. In fact, it happens a lot.

So, what’s the solution?

You wait for the next high-probability trade.

And there’s always another high-probability trade around the corner.

RTH AM TRADING:

The problem with the RTH session was… ES was tired and irritable.

ES Emini already ran 150 points down, ran back up 120 points!

Then… we got complex, disgusting, violent back-and-forth whipsaw price action during RTH.

On Zoom, we mapped out two longs.

One never happened, and one was risky but reach target.

Trade Setup: We were looking for price to break the opening and the trend line to give us entry. The target was Friday’s RTH low to “fill the gap”.

Methodology

Video: How To Trade The Battle Plan

Each evening, I scan the ES chart and ask one primary question:

Where are the bulls and bears positioned?

"Great bears know where the bulls are.
Great bulls know where the bears are."

The arrows you see highlight those pressure points...zones where reactions in price are most likely.

Careful consideration is given to trend, range structure, liquidity pools, and our Strong Levels — a custom TradingView indicator available to paid Battle Plan or full Micros Trader members.

Most arrows lean toward the buy side. That's no coincidence as the ES is a long-biased instrument over time.

How you choose to trade these zones is entirely up to you:

Entry:

Our Core Strategy: Low-time frame bounce levels.
Level Reclaim: Market order with proper stop loss under low.
Your own preferred method: Just use the arrows as a price map and trade on your own confirmation.
Paper Trade til confident.
