A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

Speculator’s Special:

The AM Briefing (time-stamped link) set this up nicely, as I described the Speculator’s Special trade.

The Speculator’s Special is the only Battle Plan trade idea that activated for the RTH Zoom session. 

When posted last night, that probably appeared improbable. It was over 35 points and three Strong Levels away… nice follow through on price!

Last Nights Battle Plan

Multiple traders took that trade.

I then placed a magnet at the ultimate target. Will it get there? No clue. 

All we do is understand where we are at and follow price with the highest-probability entries and hold a runner!

Price bounced nearly 15 points fairly cleanly. I had visions of a 40-pointer dancing in my head. 

I told traders if they wanted to lock their 10-pointers and call it done, to do so. Nice trading! 

I also told the traders that if they had multiple contracts to take 2 off at 10-pointers and move the lotto runner to the -10 points position to give this trade the best chance possible. Close your platform and walk. 

After a 100+ point move from yesterday’s low, today’s price action would be “grindy” – not clean. The cleaner price action was yesterday. 

YM was not taking part in the upward move. This made things difficult. 

After a 100+ point directional move in 24 hours… tough trading conditions. ES was moving like it just stuffed itself at an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.

This Speculator Special trade location was a great place to be long positionally, targeting the magnet we placed on our chart earlier. 

I told the traders, “If long, try and stay long and consider placing your stop 1-tick below the low. Close your platform and WALK away!”

Positionally speaking, a high-probability 40-pointer was in your hands.

Bulls Control

Today, once again… we focused on trading at the right locations on the chart… and that’s half the battle right there. 

Knowing exactly where you want to engage with price, that changes everything. It’s the very purpose of the Battle Plan.

My goal? Calm and clarity. 

Because when you know where to expect reactions… when you’ve got those key trade ideas mapped out ahead of time.

No guessing. No chasing. No emotional decisions in the heat of the moment.

Just patient, disciplined trading at the levels that matter most.

If we can keep looking for the right trade in the right trade locations. The odds of success are in our favor!
