A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

Overall:

The first day after a holiday is usually squirrelly…as warned. It is to be treated cautiously, suspiciously, with a small size… if at all. 

That said, we saw the price action incredibly well today. Several trades ran 30+ points… that is the nature of big candles. It is a double-sided blade and cuts both ways.

Yesterday’s Battle Plan only mapped longs. Our vision was correct. 

Today, once again, we focused on trading at the right locations on the chart… and that’s half the battle right there. Knowing exactly where you want to engage with price, that changes everything. It’s the very purpose of the Battle Plan.

My goal? To bring calm and clarity to your trading. Because when you know where to expect reactions.

🔥 Battle Plan (2️⃣) for the early win this AM. 

Price ran 50 points. Following at 50% gave a 25-pointer. 

As revealed in the AM Briefing, I took the first ladder long. And then… the gift of a beautiful move.

🔥 A high-risk beautiful 35-point bounce. 

Note: I incorrectly gave the 6796 level last night, instead of 6796. Thanks for Mr. Amodie for pointing this out. If anyone feels I mistakenly wrote the WRONG LEVEL, please reach out to me – I will fix ASAP.

Lotto Runners

Today, once again, showed the power of holding a lotto runner, closing your platform and WALKING away from the computer. 

Your lotto runner does not need your tick-by-tick supervision. 

You only get in the way! At least, that is my personal experience. 

Several of us got an amazing long entry towards the end of Zoom at the reclaim on 6796. We captured 10 points. Nice trade. 

BUT… WHAT IF… we could have kept a single runner back. 

Price ran 80+ points! 

70 additional points for doing absolutely nothing after entry but walking away!

💡 It is ALWAYS worthy to continue to mentally trade… EVERY TRADE… as if you kept a runner back. Some trades go no further that break-even… some run another 100+ points.

TIP OF THE DAY

1️⃣ In 15-point candle land, trading ONE CONTRACT was wise… IMHO. Not trading at all might be wiser.

2️⃣ Just because the bears control does NOT mean you need to be short! 

TRADE OF THE DAY

BATTLE PLAN:

🔥 Battle Plan (2️⃣) for a 50-point move into the profit. Capturing 20-30 points should have been attainable. Holding a paid-for lotto runner is always the best policy – you are already in a winning trade – milk it for all it’s worth!

What is the EASIEST way to hold a lotto runner? Set your stop, close your platform, and remove yourself from the computer – the ‘easy’ work of entering a profitable trade has already happened – now the ‘hard’ work of DOING NOTHING begins! Let your lotto runner do its job without your ‘input’. Your lotto runner does not need your intelligence any more. Leave it alone. 

NOTE: You only manage your runner IF you are dealing with intra-day trailing drawdown (just keep moving your stop up per our system), your want to cap your profit for the day (for prop firm rules), you have a predetermined take profit in mind per our system. 

🔥 Speculator Special also had a nice 30-point move. 

ZOOM:

The MAIN value of Zoom today was telling traders to STAND DOWN on that strong move down and wait for our next Battle Plan location for a turnaround long trade. We had nice vision on the chart today… looking for the right trades in the right trade locations. 

We discussed how important the 6896 Strong Level was… and the reclaim of that level should trigger a long. 

I took this long three times! Twice for break-even. One for a 10 pointer.

Originally, I said I was going to treat this contract as a “lotto runner” but took my 10-pointer instead. It was the right decision. When counter, “See Money – Take Money” is the correct action when you take the entry with 1 contract!

If one had taken this trade with the 3-Contract System and held a lotto runner, price ran 50+ points easily. Easy to FOMO that type move! See the chart below.

In 15-point candle land, trading ONE CONTRACT was wise… IMHO. 

The easy trades were done. Time to close up shop. You do NOT have to trade all day — trading all day is NOT my desired business plan. 2-3 hours & done is my personal goal. Then I spend my extra time mapping out the next potential trade locations…AKA the Battle Plan.

CORE STRATEGY:

NOTHING.

Candles are TOO big!

Thirteen 15-Points candles. That is a tough environment for reasonable stop losses. The ideal stop loss is often TOO FAR away to fit within your Leverage Matrix. 

This afternoon I wrote in Discord (See image below)… and a few candles later we got a 18ish point candle. Too risky to trade!
