A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

Battle Plan (1️⃣) and the “Speculator Special” played out overnight. Yesterday I wrote, “Counter short idea against the strong level. OR, price gets over the strong level and slams back under. Small… IF at all. This is a bit more aggressive of a short than normal.”

Speculator Special: “Short 6786. Place your stop a comfortable distance above… your choice. Set ATM and walk away. Not financial advice. And remember the name… Speculator’s Special.”

Both had less than 3 points of heat. When counter, see money-take money. Follow at 50% and capture what you can.

Live on Zoom, we mapped out this laddering sequence. See video above. I was long 6768 but couldn’t hold on when we made a new low. Then, I missed the pullback long but a point. Geez. Oh well, I will wait for the next juicy setup. Sometimes, your satisfaction is seeing the price action well and helping others stay on the right side of price action.

Battle Plan (1️⃣): had you been awake! I was staring at the back of my eyelids sleeping. 

Zoom Long: 10-20 points captured… if you got entry!

Last Wednesday Long: If you held the long, you can ONCE AGAIN move your stop 5 points behind todays low. Cleanly locking in 50 points of profit on your financed runner – congrats!

The Battle Plan for Tonight & Tomorrow:

Another higher low… and the “value area” and POC migrated higher once again. Bulls ‘control’ but the foundation ‘feels’ like it’s cracking. 

Just a friendly reminder…. Shorts are counter. Small if at all. Never adding to loser. Know where you are wrong, and just get out. 

That said, longs are indeed getting ‘long in the tooth’ here.  That said, just like this AM on Zoom… although we were laddering down we mapped out a long. Why??? Bulls control – that is why. 

As mentioned today, this new CHOP range is firmly established. We will primarily look for “Trap The Trader” longs and KNOW that a LARGE move is COMING. Hold a runner and maybe, just maybe, it will break your direction! 

Today was an “inside day”. The pressure cooker is building!

Price feels tricky here. Stay cautious… a big move is brewing. You don’t need big size to crush it when volatility hits.

TRADE IDEAS

(1️⃣) Counter trade short idea against today’s high and/or the ATH. Price slams back inside range and ladders under the Strong Level at 6794.75. 

NOTE: The Strong Level at 6782, could ONCE AGAIN present a short all by itself. Note the mapping sequence on the chart below. 

This 6782 Strong Level is also a great ADD-ON location if short from above. 

If this trade idea sets up while I am awake this evening, I will take it and manage aggressively. I am NOT calling a TOP, as much as it is knowing we are at the TOP of a multi-day range and we are playing RANGE RULES! We will discuss this further tomorrow. 

(2️⃣) Trap the trader longs off Today’s and/or Friday’s RTH lows with . “Warning Shot To Bulls” Strong Level right below. I would prefer the deeper part of this outlined trade idea. I want to see a FAST POWERFUL reaction back north here. 

If price takes out the “Warning Shot To Bulls” Strong Level with a quick reclaim, one could “probably” long on the reclaim/retest. This is getting VERY close to being trade idea (3️⃣) .

(3️⃣) Ladder back long off Thursday’s low and “Warning Shot To Bulls” Strong Level reclaim/retest. This is my favorite set up but (4️⃣) is too. I had to pick one, I picked this one! 

(4️⃣) Reclaim of the “Bull Bear” Strong Range. You can play both sides of the Strong Range. Look to add at Strong Levels above. 

(5️⃣) We take back the entire trend day on Wednesday nearing the EXPECTED RANGE and ladder back.
