MES MICROS TRADE PLAN

A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

OVERALL:

Since Sunday, ES finally tested the 2026 Opening Price at 6902, lost it, and back tested it this AM. It could serve as a Bull Bear line.

SCOTUS did not rule in the tariff case today – a letdown if you ask me. The next official “opinion day” is next month I believe.

Today was the “Day After A Bank Holiday”. Not my favorite day to trade… what did YOU think? Worth it?

TRADE SETUPS FOR THE ES EMINI AND MES MICROS:

During the London Session, you had a combination of a Battle Plan (3️⃣) (4️⃣) as outlined in the AM Briefing. I took this setup for a 10-pointer.

Battle Plan (3️⃣) (4️⃣) MES Long Setup

During Zoom and YouTube Live, we called one long for 20 pointer. If you TP’d at the trend line, you made 30. We discussed both options. Congrats to the traders who took it! I captured my second 10-pointer on that move to the trend-line plus 2026 Opening Price plus the Sun-Mon POC. It’s not surprising that was the AM high.

Both longs were a great lesson: when counter “See Monday Take Money” is the best way to stay profitable – IMHO. I remarked over and over. “Longs are counter, see money-take money.”

At 11:35 AM I wrote, “Eyes on Battle Plan (4️⃣) (5️⃣) below”.

Wait… wait… wait… nearly brutal to watch tick-by-tick.

Trading is MOSTLY waiting and RESISTING the emotional urge to trade. Keep that darn platform closed so you can’t be ‘stupid’.

By 1:48 PM, we made it to Battle Plan (4️⃣). It bounced perfectly in the mapped out zone, BUT no laddering, THUS no entry – simple.

So, my eyes are waiting for laddering to the NORTH above the 6847 Strong Level OR a move down to Battle Plan (5️⃣). No trade otherwise. Simple.

We almost dropped into the trigger zone for Battle Plan (5️⃣) at end of day. Missed it by a few points.

What a job the Strong Levels did today. Very pleased.

PERSONAL SHARE

At 6:37 AM this morning, I shared something from my Bible study with my wife that hit me hard:

“Today I humbly ask God for the grace to find the space between my impulse and my action.”

Sound familiar, traders?

That SPACE between IMPULSE and ACTION is so valuable! Often account saving!

It’s the difference between executing your plan and chasing price into a trade you’ll regret 90 seconds later.

Practical advice: Keep that trading platform closed until you setup is near!

BATTLE PLAN:

Thursday’s Battle Plan (3️⃣) (4️⃣) long for 10-20 points.

ZOOM:

1 Long. 20-30 Points. You only need one great entry a day. Traders were encouraged to WALK for the day. Green > Greed.

CORE STRATEGY: (For Full Members)

A couple FS’s for 5 points or so. There was no real follow-through.

HOMEWORK: There was a 40+ point BS WTT short – find it! But you had to survive a double tap if you wanted to hold a lotto runner. After the double tap, price moved easily to the south!

💡 Holding a lotto runner in the negative position can be powerful! This lets you runner survive with double and triple taps. If you LOVE the trade location, this is often the very best way to “stay in the trade”.

All the trades seemed to double and triple tap today. It is not the easiest day to hold onto a lottery runner.

Methodology

Video: How To Trade The Battle Plan

Each evening, I scan the ES chart and ask one primary question:

Where are the bulls and bears positioned?

"Great bears know where the bulls are.
Great bulls know where the bears are."

The arrows you see highlight those pressure points...zones where reactions in price are most likely.

Careful consideration is given to trend, range structure, liquidity pools, and our Strong Levels — a custom TradingView indicator available to paid Battle Plan or full Micros Trader members.

Most arrows lean toward the buy side. That's no coincidence as the ES is a long-biased instrument over time.

How you choose to trade these zones is entirely up to you:

Entry:

Our Core Strategy: Low-time frame bounce levels.
Level Reclaim: Market order with proper stop loss under low.
Your own preferred method: Just use the arrows as a price map and trade on your own confirmation.
Paper Trade til confident.
