TODAY’S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
Battle Plan Review
Honestly, I think the best review is the portion I did on the AM Briefing this morning included in the video above.
If we can consistently and continually look for the right trades in the right trade locations, the odds of our success are greatly improved.
We saw the week very, very well.
Expected Range
81 points seems a little light on the week of CPI.
Heck, I’ve seen a single CPI candle traverse over 200 points.

Tip of the Day
Draw It Before You Trade It:
Sketch the trade before you take it.
When price finally gets there, you enter with confidence because you already thought it through…
I can’t tell you how powerful this is.
If you didn’t draw it, you can’t take it.
If you didn’t pre-plan it, you can’t take it.
In fact, should your trading platform even be open if you haven’t mapped out a trade yet?

Scoreboard

Points Accumulated This Week:
Battle Plan: 205+
Absolutely incredible week for the Battle Plan.
This was not a week of touch and go entries, as every level seemed to be double and triple tapped.
That doesn’t negate the accuracy of our system.
I wish every trade could be a touch and go, but… I can hear my wife saying it now, “Keep dreaming that dream.”
Zoom: 5+
Price either delivers us a trade or it doesn’t.
We don’t force trades.
Next week SHOULD be incredible.
Core Strategy: 30+ (For Full Members)
True level development on a three-minute chart was absolutely dismal this week.
I hope next week presents better opportunities for Core Strategy entries.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What does it mean when George says Bulls control?
A: Bulls control means buyers are running the show. Price has been climbing and holding its gains. In this Battle Plan the bulls traversed 90 points straight up and finished at the high. When bulls control, trading in general is easier… you lean long at the mapped pullback locations. Shorts are counter. Small, if at all. One caution here: trade ideas sitting right near the close are lower probability than the ones further away. The deeper pullbacks are the higher quality trades.
What is a Strong Level in the Battle Plan?
A: A Strong Level is a specific price where ES has shown a clear history of reacting… buyers or sellers stepping in hard. A Strong Range is the same idea spread across a few points instead of one tick, like 7,887.75 to 7,883.75. These are the locations where I look for a trade and where I expect price to bounce or stall. The levels are listed in the Battle Plan so members not on TradingView can hand draw them on their own charting platform. For Battle Plan 5, the Strong Range helps you get picky on entry and keep a small stop.
What is the ES Expected Range and how do I use it?
A: The Expected Range is the options-implied move for the week. It takes the SPX at-the-money straddle and applies it to the ES front-month futures. This week the implied move is about 81 points either way… roughly 1.03%… giving a range low near 7,784.89 and a range high near 7,947.11. I treat the edges as high-quality trade locations. Battle Plan 4 challenges the Bull Bear Line and the expected range, and I welcome that trade. One note: 81 points seems a little light on the week of CPI. I’ve seen a single CPI candle traverse over 200 points, so stay humble on CPI day.
What does Draw It Before You Trade It mean?
A: This is the Tip of the Day. Sketch the trade before you take it… the level, the entry, the stop, the target. When price finally gets there, you enter with confidence because you already thought it through. I can’t tell you how powerful this is. If you didn’t draw it, you can’t take it. If you didn’t pre-plan it, you can’t take it. In fact, should your trading platform even be open if you haven’t mapped out a trade yet?
What is the Core Strategy and why was it slow this week?
A: The Core Strategy is the Micros Trader scalping method taught to Full Members. It depends on true level development on a three-minute chart… clean levels forming in real time that you can bounce off of. This week that development was absolutely dismal, so Core Strategy entries were scarce and the tally came in at 30 plus points. The Battle Plan, by contrast, banked 205 plus points because its pre-mapped levels got double and triple tapped. Price either delivers us a trade or it doesn’t. We don’t force trades.
