TODAY’S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
What Is the Best ES Long Setup?
🔥 50-Pointer Battle Plan 2️⃣ Long
If you were aggressive, this trade idea paid handsomely.
The long at the top of the Strong Range… the ideal entry… 50 points of follow-through.
Sweet.
One of my international members hit pay dirt here. He wrote, “Yes sir! International member here who took that Battle Plan 2 long. Thank ya kindly, George!”
What a beautiful trade. Congratulations, longs.
Battle Plan 2️⃣ Long… Again
In our live ES trading room, we got a second look at Battle Plan 2️⃣… Much to my surprise.
This trade was covered thoroughly in the recap video above.
Be sure to note the part that I highlighted as “Very Important.”
Traders were encouraged to peel initial contracts off at the Strong Level… 10 points per contract, locked in.
You will also hear me say it in the recap video… if you wanted to peel everything off and call the day done, nobody would blame you.
Second look. Same trade location. Nice Trade.
“We made our piece of the price action. Green Over Greed.”
Congratulations!
What Was the Key ES Futures Level Today?
All session long in the live trading room, I kept pointing at a key level on ES… 7712.
The bottom of the Strong Range. One of the mapped entry locations.
Price finally got there.
And it bounced… nicely.
The right trade location, called ahead of time.
That is the whole game.
Where’s the highest probability trade location on the chart? That is the purpose of the Battle Plan.
Battle Plan 2️⃣ rang the cash register today… then rang it again… and again.
Where Should I Put My Stop on an ES Lotto Runner?
I was long at 7715 in the ES live trading session.
I peeled the first contract at five points profit rather quickly.
Then at ten points, I took profit on the second contract… right below the next Strong Level.
Up 15 points and the Green Day was insured.
Now the only thing left on the table was a single Lotto Runner… and a decision every trader faces.
Where do you place the stop?
Simple.
Behind the best bounce level on the chart… while ensuring a green day.
That was 7712.
I had been pointing at it all session long. The bottom of the Strong Range. A Battle Plan 2️⃣ trade location I love.
So my stop went to 7711. One point behind.
If they took 7712 out, they could have my runner.
KEY POINT: I would rather eat that small loss than chase another entry! Heck, I was already in a winning trade, with a green day ensured, with a “paid-for” lotto, at a trade location I loved. It made sense to me.
Although we had multiple beautiful bounces at our key levels, the big payoff for holding a lotto runner to the north simply was not in the cards during RTH.
7712 did its job… it bounced multiple times!
Sometimes playing perfect chess is difficult and taxing. It’s best done away from the screen.
Should You Hold a Lotto Runner When Trading ES Futures?
If you’ve read this newsletter for any length of time, you know the answer. Heck, yes!
If you took Battle Plan 2️⃣ during the Asia session and held a lotto runner, you had a 50-pointer.
Yesterday? Another 50-pointer.
Two days. Two 50-pointers. That tells you something.
This is not July and August price action… we are in full fall trading conditions now.
‘Tis the season to hold a lotto runner when possible.
Even if you have to close your platform and slap your hand away from the mouse.
What Are Strong Levels in ES Futures Trading?
Very very nice.
These Strong Levels are published every Sunday in a TradingView indicator.
These Strong Levels represent what I believe are the most important levels on the ES chart for the week. I couldn’t imagine trading without them.
Battle Plan 2️⃣ Full Picture
How pretty is that mapping!
Target Hit.
Price action might have been a little frustrating… but it paid well!
The easiest way to trade this price action is to set your stop and walk. Just let ES do what ES wants to do.
Congrats longs & members!
Right Trade. Right Location. Every day.
How Can I Simplify ES Futures Trading and Trade With More Clarity?
Trading ES is hard enough. Don’t make it harder by believing you have to trade both directions at every trade location.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is simply take one side off the table.
That was the message in today’s live trading room.
At this trade location, I had absolutely no interest in being short. So we didn’t waste time looking for shorts, hoping for shorts, mapping shorts, nor trying to manufacture a reason to short.
We focused on one thing.
Longs. Longs at THIS trade location were the highest-probability trade… in-my-humble-opinion.
And we did very, very well.
You don’t have to trade every direction price can move. Sometimes eliminating the wrong trade is just as valuable as finding the right one.
Fewer decisions. Less noise. Better execution. The Battle Plan.
Tip of the Day
No Single Trade Should Hurt You:
Size every trade so it CANNOT ruin your day.
When no single trade can hurt you, fear leaves the room… and discipline walks in.

🔥 50-Point Battle Plan 2️⃣ Long.
🔥 10-Point Battle Plan 2️⃣ Long… Second Look.
With a three contract system for Battle Plan 2️⃣ and the lotto-runner stop management as taught above … you are still long! 7796 would be the ultimate target as outlined in the live trading session this morning. We may not get there tonight, but that would be my target.
Battle Plan 2️⃣ alone could account for over 100 points if we reach the outlined target.

I outlined entry for Battle Plan 1️⃣… and the Take Profits.
Then you’re advised to set your stop for your Lotto Runner, close your platform, and walk.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What Is the Best ES Long Setup?
A: Today it was the Battle Plan 2 long… a 50-pointer. The entry was mapped the night before at the top of the Strong Range, the ideal location. If you were aggressive and took it, price gave you 50 points of follow-through. One international member wrote in to say he took that exact trade. That is what a best setup looks like… a pre-mapped level, price arrives, price reacts, and you are already there waiting.
What Was the Key ES Futures Level Today?
A: 7712. That was the bottom of the Strong Range and one of the mapped Battle Plan 2 entry locations. I pointed at it all session long in the live trading room. Price finally got there… and bounced nicely. Then it bounced again. And again. The whole game is knowing the highest probability trade location on the chart before price gets there. That is the purpose of the Battle Plan.
Where Should I Put My Stop on an ES Lotto Runner?
A: Behind the best bounce level on the chart… while making sure your day stays green. A Lotto Runner is the last contract you leave on after taking profit on the others. Today I was long from 7715, peeled one contract at five points and another at ten. Up 15 points, the green day was insured. My runner’s stop went to 7711, one point behind 7712, the bottom of the Strong Range. If they took 7712 out, they could have my runner. I would rather eat that small loss than chase another entry. The day was already paid for.
Should You Hold a Lotto Runner When Trading ES Futures?
A: Heck, yes. A Lotto Runner is the one contract you keep after locking in profit on the rest, with a stop that guarantees a green day. If you took Battle Plan 2 during the Asia session and held a runner, you had a 50-pointer. Yesterday was another 50-pointer. Two days, two 50-pointers… that tells you something. We are in full fall trading conditions now. ‘Tis the season to hold a runner when possible. Even if you have to close your platform and slap your hand away from the mouse.
What Are Strong Levels in ES Futures Trading?
A: Strong Levels are what I believe are the most important price levels on the ES chart for the week. They are published every Sunday in a TradingView indicator so members see them mapped right on their chart. They frame the Strong Range, which is where trade ideas like Battle Plan 2 are built. Today the bottom of that range, 7712, bounced multiple times. I couldn’t imagine trading without them.
How Can I Simplify ES Futures Trading and Trade With More Clarity?
A: Take one side off the table. Trading ES is hard enough. Don’t make it harder by believing you have to trade both directions at every trade location. Today I had zero interest in being short at our level, so we didn’t waste time hoping for shorts, mapping shorts, or manufacturing a reason to short. We focused on longs, the highest probability trade at that location… and did very, very well. Eliminating the wrong trade is just as valuable as finding the right one. Fewer decisions. Less noise. Better execution. The Battle Plan.
What Does Green Over Greed Mean?
A: Green Over Greed means once you have made your piece of the price action, you protect it. On the second look at Battle Plan 2 today, traders were encouraged to peel initial contracts at the Strong Level… 10 points per contract, locked in. If you wanted to peel everything off and call the day done, nobody would blame you. A locked-in green day beats hoping for more and giving it back.
What Does Size Every Trade So It Cannot Ruin Your Day Mean?
A: This was the Tip of the Day. No single trade should hurt you. Pick a position size where the worst case loss on any one trade cannot ruin your session. When no single trade can hurt you, fear leaves the room… and discipline walks in. That is how you stay calm enough to wait for your level and manage a Lotto Runner without flinching.
MICROS TRADER BASICS
No Level, No Trade
No Level, No Trade is the foundational rule of the Micros Trader system. Every trade must be anchored to a pre-mapped level… a clean, clear, defined zone identified in the Battle Plan the night before. If price has not reached that level, there is no trade. No chasing. No improvising. No FOMO.
This single rule eliminates the majority of losing trades. Emotional entries happen when traders react to price instead of waiting for it. No Level, No Trade replaces that reaction with a plan.
