100-Point ES Short | Battle Plan 1️⃣ | Best ES Short Set Up

🔥 100+ point Battle Plan 1️⃣ ES Short from Tuesday’s London Session

Before we can dive into today, we need to update this Battle Plan short. 

If you were up early into this trade, and played perfect chess AND could hold overnight, you had a rather easy 100 to 130 pointer. This trade was discussed in this morning’s AM Briefing. And the stop management was thoroughly discussed in the live trading room on Zoom and YouTube.

Each week we tend to have at least one Battle Plan trade idea that goes 100 points. This week, it was a short early Tuesday Morning during the London Session.

In the chart below, number one was the short… that eventually ran 100 plus points.

Number two was the long we traded in our live trading room – for those who were not short.

Number three was the genesis of this morning’s long that paid for 40 points and managed live in our trading room and discussed below.

🔥 40-Point Long Battle Plan 3️⃣

That’s about as pretty as it gets.

Price dropped right into Battle Plan 3️⃣… responded as mapped… and ran straight to the target we discussed live in our trading room on Zoom and YouTube.

Right trade. Right location. Not too shabby.

Battle Plan 2️⃣ MES Long Setup

Battle Plan 2️⃣ tried a couple times without much enthusiasm.

If you recall, this was the second day for the same Battle Plan 2️⃣. Yesterday it defended lacklusterly… so I gave it a second opportunity. The notes read: “Not overly thrilled with this long, but with proper snappy ladder-back price action, one would have to consider it.”

And the notes for Battle Plan 3️⃣: “I am much more interested in this trade than I am in Battle Plan 2️⃣.”

So obviously, I was hoping price would reach Battle Plan 3️⃣ – which it did. 

But… But… if Battle Plan 2️⃣ gave us that snappy ladder-back price action, one would have to consider it.

Then out of nowhere… a 35-point candle, making this trade location nearly impossible to trade with confidence. 

If you took the trade the first time… after that monstrous 35-point candle north… you had an opportunity for a 20-pointer.

I took this trade. Break even. Oh wells. 

Later in the session, Battle Plan 2️⃣ offered another opportunity for 15+ points.

🔥 15+ Points for Battle Plan 2️⃣ Long before price rolled back down… resulting in a double tap. 

You can’t cry when price runs 15-points your direction, that’s for sure.

You captured 5? Great!

10? Awesome!

Took a break-even? Oh well, there is another trade soon.

Another big fat zero for Zoom, my goodness. I can only count points earned during Zoom. I was already long, managing my long runner. So I can’t count that for Zoom.

Yesterday we had an amazing discussion about trading turnaround longs… And today, we discussed trade management.

The value cannot always be measured in points earned while live.

Core Strategy: 55+ (For Full Members)

I spy a big backside for 25 plus points… I’m not saying you should have taken it, but you should note it, nonetheless.

Level development for the rest of the day was atrocious, offering no Core Strategy entries.

After the monstrous 35-point candle, the appropriate action was to Stand Down.
