TODAY’S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
ES Trade of the Week | Battle Plan 5️⃣ Long for 140-Points
🔥 140+ Pointer for Battle Plan 5️⃣ from Tuesday/Wednesday Battle Plan.
If you trade the type of account that allows for a multi-day hold, you got paid big time.
What a welcome surprise when a scalp turns into a swing trade.
Two skills paid for this trade. The first… waiting for the setup to come to you. The second… holding that Lotto runner once you entered. The waiting earns the entry. The holding earns the big points. We sharpen both skills every single day in our ES Trading Room.
ES Trade of the Week | Core Strategy Short for 50+ Points
For Full Members… this Core Strategy short presented itself on Tuesday. It is the first bounce level taught in the Core Strategy Academy. Entry and ideal stop loss come straight from the training.
The confluences stacked up. Top of the range we traded all week… nestled right against the Strong Range, as pictured below. Right trade, right trade location.
Then the bonus. Add to your winning trade on the way down… and take profit right into the next Battle Plan long.
With our 3-Contract System and the add-on, this one offered over 100 cumulative points. That is nothing to sneeze at. Full Members… run this trade tonight in our End of the Day simulator. https://homework.microstrader.com/
ES Trade of the Week | Zoom Long for 25-Points
We called this ES long setup on Zoom and YouTube… exact entry and exact exit, provided during the stream.
Multiple traders making nice deposits.
Then the harder part. What do you do after a nice 20+ point trade? You walk. You call it done. Green Over Greed.
Be sure to watch the recap video above.

Best ES Trading Advice This Week
“Don’t Short This.”
I said it about 10 times in our futures trading room the last few days.
That beautiful 50-point plus trade? You’ll be telling that story for days. The disaster short you never took… the one that would have run you over… fades by the time you finish your sandwich at lunch.
Points saved count every bit as much as points earned. They just don’t make good stories.
The entire job of this room is keeping you on the right side of price action at all times. I miss now and then, but I certainly try.
Some days that means a laser-tight entry with a perfect take profit. Some days it means sitting on your hands while the urge to short screams at you at the top of its lungs… Some days it’s “Stand Down” and do nothing at all.
Tuesday was one of those days when your $5 a day membership fee earns itself.
Non Farm Payroll Price Action
NFP… affectionately known as Not For Professionals… is NOT my favorite day to trade.
Today proved it once again.
Go nowhere, go nowhere, go somewhere. Hang out, hang out, hang out. Then move fast.
“No, thank you!” price action.
Two things make a trade worth taking… an easy day and an easy trade location. Today offered neither. A day not to trade, at a location not to trade.
I said it in last night’s Battle Plan… the week is over. Today just signed the paperwork.
ES Expected Range
A short week with CPI on Friday… equals a small range.

Tip of the Day
No stop, no trade. Anything can happen at any moment… a headline, a fat finger, a flash move.
The stop is your seatbelt. Buckle it before the car moves.

Scoreboard

Points Accumulated This Week:
Battle Plan: 250+
🔥 Last night I wrote, “Zero Battle Plan trades will be mapped. The week is done.”
There are times to pick up your ball and go home.
What’s that famous Jesse Livermore quote, “There are times to go long, there are times to go short, and there are times to go fishing.”
Today was a fishing day.
Zoom: 80+
Purely… for the love of price action… we watched.
We mapped.
We discussed.
In fellowship.
When I closed down the livestream, I offered two possible locations to look for a trade.
One was the reclaim of the Bull Bear Line… Targeting the 7756.
It offered a pretty clean entry with very little drawdown.
And then in typical NFP fashion… No follow through of significance… with price eventually coming back to the Bull Bear Line.
🔥 NFP rules are simple. The trade is right, right away… or I’m out. If the trade doesn’t work instantly, I’m not waiting around to find out why. I’ll take a break even so fast it’s nearly shocking. Double tap? Never. There are easier days to trade. I like taking easy trades at easy trade locations.
You can’t let days like this hurt you… if you choose to trade on days like this.
Core Strategy: 85 (For Full Members)
🔥 No trades. It’s non-farm payroll.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What is a Bull Bear Strong Level in the Battle Plan?
A: The Bull Bear Strong Level is the line in the sand for the session. Above it, bulls control. Below it, bears control. In this Battle Plan, a reclaim of the Bull Bear Strong Level is the trigger for longs… especially after a small pullback that challenges today’s low with snappy ladderback price action. Battle Plan 2 targets the Bull Bear line above and adds to the winning trade once price is back above it.
What is a Strong Level and how do I use the list in this Battle Plan?
A: A Strong Level is a price where the market has proven it reacts… a spot where buyers or sellers have shown up before and are likely to show up again. A Strong Range is a tight band of two Strong Levels acting as one zone. This Battle Plan lists ten of them, from the 7,801.50 to 7,796.50 Strong Range at the top down to 7,627.00 at the bottom. Hand draw them on your chart. Then wait for price to come to the level and confirm with snappy ladderback price action before you enter. The reclaim of the 76-50 Strong Level is called out as the ideal entry for the Expected Range long.
What is the Core Strategy?
A: The Core Strategy is the rules-based bounce system taught to Full Members in the Core Strategy Academy. It defines the exact levels to trade, the entry, and the ideal stop loss. This week’s Core Strategy short came off the first bounce level taught in the training, at the top of the weekly range and nestled against the Strong Range. With the 3-Contract System and an add-on, it offered over 100 cumulative points. Core Strategy sat out Friday entirely… no trades on Non Farm Payroll.
What does Stand Down mean?
A: Stand Down is the call to do nothing. No entries. Hands off the mouse. Some days the best trade is the one you never take… like the disaster short that would have run you over on Tuesday. Points saved count every bit as much as points earned. Friday was a Stand Down day too. Non Farm Payroll price action goes nowhere, goes nowhere, then moves fast. A day not to trade, at a location not to trade.
What is Green Over Greed?
A: Green Over Greed means you stop trading once you are profitable. You take the win, close the platform, and walk. After the 25 point Zoom long this week, that was the instruction… you call it done. The market will be there tomorrow. Your gains only stay yours if you protect them. Green Over Greed.

Together We Trade Better
Together We Trade Better is the founding philosophy of Micros Trader. It is the belief that serious traders improve faster, stay more disciplined, and build real consistency when they are surrounded by people working the same system toward the same goals.
