A Recap of Today’s Price Action & Setups:

When the market gaps past my Battle Plan trade idea, I’m forced to come up with a new setup — which I outlined in the AM Briefing and walked through live on Zoom. A beautiful trade for those who took it. 

The “Speculator Special” is the only Battle Plan trade idea that was activated overnight. It was a 10-pointer had you captured the whole move. A small profitable trade none-the-less. Base hits add up!

As of this writing, I’m still long from Friday’s Battle Plan (4️⃣) trade idea… we got within 2 points of 200 points! Each week, it seems we have at least one Battle Plan setup that runs 100+ points. Learning to hold those runners can truly make your week — and it’s a fundamental part of our core strategy.

The Battle Plan for Tonight & Tomorrow:

We are up 200+ points from Friday’s low. NOTHING of high quality exists up this high on the chart. Be careful. Small is beautiful up here.   

Here we are closing in the upper distribution of the RTH Range. This is my least favorite location to initiate a NEW trade idea.

There are NO “Preferred Trades” for the reason stated above. 

We need a day or two of consolidation or a monster vomit again. 

TIP
: Never short a parabolic move! It is BEST to WAIT! If you do, small and take a small “L”. 

MY LONG: I am still long from Friday’s Battle Plan (4️⃣). In “Power Hour” today, price got within 2 points of my 200 pointer. Afternoon Stream Link.

TRADE IDEAS EXPLAINED

(1️⃣) Possible Short idea. See mapping. Touch the Strong Level above the Expected Range, slam back under the Strong Range. Wait for ladder-back sequencing with strength. I like this idea if price action maps accordingly.  

(2️⃣) Tap the “Single Prints” at 6835.75 and reclaim the Strong Range . Snappy ladder-back action. This up-move already feels a little extended – but – we will trade “what is in front of us“! This would be a small entry, IMHO. You do you. 

(3️⃣) Strong Range, RTH LOW, Top of Range.. ladder back long. Very similar to this AM’s Long (see video above) but with a little deeper pullback. Requires snappy ladder-back action. Battle Plan (4️⃣) is not far below. NOTE: If we get a solid bounce at the “Bull Bear Line” with laddering, trade accordingly. NOTE II: If you drop deeper into the “Range” than mapped, but reclaim the 6790 and the Bull Bear, trade accordingly. 

(4️⃣) Possible short idea to retest the bottom of the range. Tricky tricky area. If short from above, this could be an excellent add-on location to add contracts to your winning trade. Exit just before Battle Plan (5️⃣) . Leave a runner, JUST IN CASE. 

(5️⃣) Another “bottom of the range” trade idea. Below there, WATCH OUT BELOW.

(6️⃣) NADA
